Whenever possible, I love incorporating antiques, interesting collections, family photographs, unique art, and especially live plants as part of the decor in my designs. Bringing unique textures, pieces with history or a story to tell, and natural elements into a space is very important if you want it to feel warm and comfortable.

the Process

Here's what you can expect once you've inquired with me about your project.

1. Consultation

We meet either virtually or in person in your space to discuss the project. Let's talk about your hopes and dreams for the space, how you want it to look and feel, and let's discuss your budget for the project. I'll talk a lot and very enthusiastically with my hands, and I'll let you know what's realistic, where best to focus your budget, and I'll likely assign you some homework.

2. proposal/contract

Based on our consultation, I'll create an outline of the project and provide rough estimates for the work to be done. Should you decide that you want to move forward and work with me, and depending on what the project entails, there may be a deposit due to schedule the job and secure the services needed.

3.the work

This is the EXCITING part! I take measurements if necessary, create plans, review budget, begin ordering, and gathering the work crew. The work begins!

4. check-in/progress report

I check in with you regarding the work that has been completed, discuss any changes or concerns and then complete the project to your satisfaction.

5. project completion & payment

Yay! The project is complete to everyone's satisfaction, and I collect the balance due. We shake hands and part ways as friends.
